Job purpose
Xpedition are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant/Developer to join its growing team. The main aspect of the role is to lead the technical design and requirements, documentation for new and / or existing projects. They will be accountable for the quality of work delivered against the estimate provided.

The position of Senior Technical Consultant/Developer is a key role in the delivery of a solution to the customer. Working as part of the Customer Engagement team, you will:
Ensure that all technical work is produced in line with best practice and to a high standard
Can understand a customer’s technical requirements and formulate and present ideas of how those requirements can be met
Provide technical analysis, produce technical design / solution and / or proof of concepts
Contribute to pre-sales activities and estimation processes
Define work of others and monitor its quality
Help advance the team by coaching other team members
Collaborate on internal initiatives and be able to evidence innovation in their work
Regularly participate in technical project meetings
Establish an effective direct relationship with client technical resources and project management team
Provide technical expertise and development support to the project managers and other project stakeholders. Identify any issues and form hypotheses for resolution
Configure and customise Dynamics 365 customer engagement to a high standard
The candidate will have a proven track record as a senior technical consultant/developer with knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform features and will have previous Dynamics CRM consultancy and development experience up to the latest version.
Other essential skills are:
Experience of designing and developing Power Platform components such as Model driven apps, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, PowerApps Portals
Experience of designing integrated solutions
The ability to create design documents
Degree: preferably in an IT related subject, or equivalent relevant experience. Microsoft Certified Associate and 4 to 9 years’ experience (guideline) and / or a developed specialism
An in-depth knowledge of the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform
A good understanding of Microsoft Dataverse and Model-driven Apps
Experience in developing PowerApps, both Model driven and Canvas Apps
Experience in automating business processes using Power Automate
Ability to create Custom Connectors for Power Automate and Logic Apps
Experience with Custom API and Rest services integrations and an understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources
Knowledge of SharePoint, SSRS, KingswaySoft to further enhance client solutions
Ability to design, architect and create integrations between Dynamics 365 and other applications
Experience in Azure DevOps, Deployment using pipelines
The ability to work well under pressure, both as part of the team and on own initiative
The ability to manage their workload and time according to deadlines set. Resourceful, energetic and enthusiastic
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral – listen, understand, present and challenge
The desire to gain additional experience in other product areas
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and interface with business and technology partners
The candidate would ideally have easy access to our London offices
Requirement to travel to client sites and spend the occasional night away from home (some ad hoc international travel may be required)
Candidate will hold a United Kingdom driving licence
Able to work extended hours on occasions when required
