Job summary
Xpedition is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. The main aspects involve the management of both Dynamics CE and Dynamics BC projects, working with the respective clients and our delivery teams to deliver successful projects. Strong business communication skills are essential as is the appreciation of business forces and deadlines.
What we’re looking for
This is a permanent, Senior Project Management post, demanding ownership, accountability and the ability to manage project deliverables to time and budget. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, analysis and communication skills, and proven experience of delivering successful projects in the region of 50 – 500 days, based on Microsoft Dynamics CE & BC.
Part of the role will be to lead the design and process for clients, so understanding Dynamics CE and BC products and technologies would be a distinct advantage.
Client CE/BC Project ownership, including:
Project Planning
Resource planning and management
Managing client project-related issues
Status Reporting
Change control
Internal RAG reporting to Xpedition Heads
In addition, the role will involve:
Working with clients & the Xpedition delivery team to analyse, define and specify requirements
The production of high-quality documentation for assigned projectsImplement and configure CE/BC according to business needs
Estimating for delivering such solutions
An ability to deliver projects to time, budget and quality
An ability to align solutions to the D365 platform
Impactful solutions, successful projects and satisfied clients
Degree, preferably in an IT or business related subject, or equivalent relevant experience
Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2 , Scrum and others are desirable
Proven experience with business information systems integration or custom business application design and development in a professional technology consulting, corporate MIS or software development environment
Proven successful track record of delivering projects in the D365 CE and/or BC space
Delivery of projects following a prescribed methodology whether that be traditional or agile based is a must
Experience of project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps and other industry adopted platforms
An accomplished Project Manager
Experience of designing effective business solutions based on D365 CE and/or BC
The applicant must have commercial experience working as a consultant with D365 CE/BC technologies and in a customer-supplier environment. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong track-record in Dynamics 365 solutions
Ability to create detailed design documents
Experience of working successfully to deadlines
Highly competent in the preparation of business communications, including specifications, emails, quotations, proposals and reports
Appreciation of business forces, deadlines and client requirements
The project manager must be an effective communicator, with strong leadership skills, with an ability to operate within teams and manage stakeholders
The role will be based from our offices in London, but with significant time spent on client site and the requirement to travel and spend the occasional night away from home
Some occasional international travel may be required
Candidate will have clean United Kingdom driving licence
