Technical

• Solid background in general IT disciplines
  • Networking – understanding TCP/IP, Firewalls and being able to troubleshoot basic connectivity issues between servers and systems
  • Software
  • Windows Server OS, IIS etc.
  • Relational databases and database management systems especially SQL server

• Hardware – understanding client & server hardware (CPU, RAM, Disks etc.) and interactions with software systems (ERP) aimed sizing and physical infrastructure design.
• Excellent understanding of most common protocols/technologies involved in systems integrations

Business Central

• Experience with Business Central consultancy and development up to the latest version.
• Excellent knowledge of AL
  • Extensions & Event driven development
  • Comfortable with working on projects with multiple extensions (our own and 3rd party) with multiple dependencies
  • Document layout development & customisation (RDL & Word)
• Ability to relate screens and procedures in Business Central to underlying solution code (standard and/or customised) and being able to make modifications as required
• Comfortable with using the following tools:
  • Visual Studio Code
  • Git source control
  • Business Central in Docker Containers
  • Azure DevOps
    • Boards & Work Items
    • Repos
• Experience with Dynamics NAV and C/AL is preferred

• Able to spend the nights away from home.
• Able to travel to Xpedition offices.
• Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
• On occasion some international travel may be required
• Candidate will have clean United Kingdom driving licence
