Crimestoppers set to digitally transform with an enhanced financial management solution

The charity will benefit from increased productivity and efficiencies

Crimestoppers has selected Xpedition as its technology partner to migrate its finance data from Microsoft Great Plains to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and to design and implement the new solution.

Crimestoppers is a charity that is independent of the police. It provides a completely anonymous way for people to protect their families, friends and communities, by safely passing on what they know about crime.

Challenged by the limitations of its on-premise financial management solution – particularly with regards to process efficiencies and scalability – Crimestoppers sought a modern finance solution that could increase productivity and improve the quality and granularity of reporting.

Xpedition is to deploy a new cloud-based finance solution for the charity utilising the Finance modules within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP, integrated with enhanced Continia expense management functionality. It will replace its incumbent Microsoft Great Plains solution and other disparate systems.

The investment will enable Crimestoppers to increase efficiencies and productivity across the business, use real-time data to inform decision making and better utilise its talent. Over the long term, this will empower Crimestoppers to reinvest more of its funds into front-line activities and accelerate its mission as a charity.
