Women Leading the way in Tech: Celebrating Xpedition’s Commitment to Inclusion

At Xpedition, we’re proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women by Great Place to Work – a testament to our ongoing commitment to creating inclusive, empowering environments where women can thrive. Ranking highly among medium-sized businesses, this accolade reflects the culture we’ve worked hard to build: one that supports, celebrates, and elevates women at every level.

This culture is exemplified by the remarkable achievements of our own Suneetha Akula, Head of Development, who has been named a FastTrack Recognised Solution Architect by Microsoft for both Power Automate and Power Apps. This prestigious global recognition places her among an elite group of solution architects driving innovation and excellence in digital transformation.

The FastTrack Recognised Solution Architect designation is awarded by Microsoft’s Power Platform product engineering team to practicing solution architects who consistently deliver high-quality, scalable solutions using Microsoft’s Success by Design framework. This year, only 31 architects worldwide were recognised for Power Automate, and 56 for Power Apps – making Suneetha’s dual recognition truly an exceptional accomplishment.

As a senior leader at Xpedition, having been with the business for over a decade, Suneetha has long been a driving force behind our development strategy, leading teams with precision, empathy, and a relentless focus on delivering value. She is also a key member of Xpedition’s AI Center of Excellence. Her recognition by Microsoft is a testament not only to her technical brilliance but also to the culture of excellence and empowerment we are proud to have at Xpedition.

To continue building on this momentum, we’re investing in initiatives like Xceed, our Employee Resources Group (ERG, dedicated to supporting and advancing women at Xpedition. Xceed provides a platform for connection, mentorship, and growth – and we plan to work closely with Microsoft to host events, showcase speakers, and create new pathways for women in tech to thrive.
