The School for Social Entrepreneurs has selected Xpedition as its technology partner of choice to implement a new financial management system for the organisation powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
The School for Social Entrepreneurs helps people to tackle society’s biggest problems. It runs courses that empower social entrepreneurs to start, scale and strengthen organisations that make a positive difference as well as providing other forms of support, such as funding and mentoring.
In the school’s 25-year history it has made great strides in making a difference in communities through its social enterprise fellows. It is ambitious about the future in an increasingly challenging society. It wants to and can do more through its work but to do so change in internal systems is necessary to create greater resource through efficiencies.
Challenged by legacy systems, manual processes and inefficiencies – the organisation’s Digital Transformation Taskforce, responsible for delivering the company-wide digital transformation strategy – identified a new financial management solution that would increase productivity, efficiencies and modernise processes as a key area of investment for the business.
After evaluating available solutions on the market, Xpedition has been selected to deploy a next generation financial system for The School for Social Entrepreneurs, powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with Continia add-on for Expense Management and Document Capture.
The investment will enable The School for Social Entrepreneurs to streamline and automate its processes, save time and reallocate resource to value-creating projects. This will provide the organisation with a springboard from which it can scale and increase its reach as a social enterprise accelerator.
